A Day at the Horse Show

So today my mom and I helped out at Chasing Rainbow's Special Olympics Competition. Chasing Rainbows is a therapeutic riding facility in Enola, PA and has the only Special Olympics program in the Midstate. I doubled as a side walker and the score runner. It was so fun and there were many pretty horses there.

Me and Zena the Clydesdale (its really heard to get a Clydesdale's
head in one shot!)
The riders ranged from being completely independent to being led around and having a side walker walk with them. They all worked and trained hard for this and I'm so proud of them.

I'm Back!

Hello my lovelies! I'm sorry for my absence but school got crazy. I'm now in the process of completing finals (3 down 3 to go)! I'll finally have time to paint again. Unfortunately I won't be able make it to Breyerfest this year because of a college visit, but hey! I'll get to see an awesome art school (I want to go for Art Ed) and visit a historical town I've wanted to see since I was little, Salem. In addition to working on horses, I'll be working on my portfolio so I'll be posting more flatwork as well!
I have many in progress horses, but have no pictures of them so in lieu of a horse, have an owl!
