There and Back Again - Part One

So I'm safely back in PA! There will be a couple posts chronicling my visit to Chincoteague. So without further adieu...

The first day we went on Captain Dan's Around the Island Tour...

We had his father Captain Ray...

There were birds...

A lot of birds...

 Me enjoying the ride...

We were able to see some of the northern herd which was in the process of being rounded up...

 Riptide!

Later we were driving and stopped to let these guys cross the road...

Mama and her baby...

 And a beautiful sunset...

Ended our first day in Chincoteague. I'll try to post more pictures tomorrow. All of these beautiful pictures were taken by mother Barb Pollihan!

Heading to Chincoteague Tomorrow!

We'll be there from tomorrow to Thursday. I'm not sure if I'll have wifi but expect a lot of pictures of ponies and other animals. If you're heading to the pony penning I'll see you there!

Riptide Update the Second

Riptide's markings are on their way to being finished. I can't wait until he's finished and I can take final pictures of him because the in progress pictures do his color no justice.

This weekend I'll be in Massachusetts visiting Montserrat College. I can't wait!

Riptide Update

Riptide is in his final stages of color. Then its on to the white markings. Yay!

Also if you have no plans for the Fourth of July and live near or in Harrisburg, PA, come join the Historical Society of Dauphin County from 10-2. There is going to be a reading of the Declaration of Independence at 10,  11, 12, and 1. There will also be face painting, games, and a scavenger hunt, and tours of the Harris Cameron Mansion. Come and enjoy!
